Kirby Perkins Construction Builds Long Awaited Community Skate Park in North End of Newport

After finally securing a location near the Community College of Rhode Island’s Newport campus in 2021 the Friends of Newport Skatepark, a nonprofit organization, took on a fundraising campaign that generated over $1 million. Spohn Ranch, an award-winning firm designed the park and Kirby Perkins Construction provided project management and construction services to see the skatepark construction through from start to finish.
