Newport Skate Park Named in Honor of Seamus Kirby

The recently constructed Newport Skatepark has been officially dedicated to the memory of Seamus Kirby, son of Jerome and Kimberly Kirby, who was an active member of the skateboarding and extreme sports community of Newport. Seamus was known for his inclusivity and inviting presence, an energy cultivated by the community who is so enthusiastically using the new skatepark.
