SERVICES > PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Whether you’re looking to build a new home, commercial building or preserve or renovate a structure, Kirby Perkins Construction will partner with you to plan, execute and complete your project. There is no job too big or too small. We are equipped to handle all facets of the work taking careful consideration of the key components to every job - design, finance, estimating, and legal considerations. These considerations, in combination with thorough oversight and planning, all contribute to a positive end result. With over 30 years in the construction industry we've developed a systematic approach to completing the work efficiently, on time and to the highest standards.
Before the work begins, planning must take place. This is where the KPC team meets with the owners and other key individuals to set clear expectations and develop a detailed plan to produce a functionally and financially viable project that meets the client’s requirements.
As a full service firm, Kirby Perkins has the advantage of in-house talent providing greater efficiency during the construction process. The KPC team holds regular meetings with team members providing updates on project status and allowing for any necessary adjustments to be made without disrupting progress.
Timing and cost are two of the most important components to any construction project, particularly for the owners. The KPC team has extensive experience with projects of every size and has invested in cutting edge software and project tracking technology to ensure maximum efficiency.
Kirby Perkins has a full team of in-house skilled craftsman and supervisors, giving a greater understanding of labor costs and completion times. We have also developed strong relationships with numerous CSI division trade subcontractors, which aids in the project planning leading to better project cost and scheduling.
The completion phase does not occur at a single point in time. Rather it is a process including numerous aspects from administration to management to construction. During the completion phase a punch-list is created for completion and/or correction of any items. Upon completion of the punch list there is a final inspection by the owners to ensure all work is to the owner’s satisfaction. System start-up and testing is conducted to ensure all systems are operating properly. Training is administered including educating the owners and maintenance staff about the operation and maintenance of all mechanical, electric, fire alarm and security systems. Final project closeout documents are then provided to the owners.
