Kirby Perkins Awarded A Major Project to Restore Historic Carter’s Grove Plantation In Williamsburg, VA

Kirby Perkins Construction has been awarded the contract to complete the historic restoration of the Virginia plantation "Carters Grove". This iconic property in Williamsburg, VA will receive much-needed structural, mechanical and aesthetic repairs required to preserve and protect it. The restoration team at Kirby Perkins Construction will work closely with the Virginia Department of Historical Resources, The Colonial Williamsburg Foundation and other partners in preservation.

Kirby Perkins Construction has been selected to restore the wooden window sashes at the White Horse Tavern. This historic property, located in Newport, Rhode Island, is the oldest operating tavern in the nation. Opened in 1643, it is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
